Quick Start
Everything to do right after adding Heidrun AI Media to your group. The whole setup takes about five minutes.
1. Add the bot to your group
Open your group → Add members → search @HeidrunAIMedia_bot → add it.
Guided setup: ⚙️ Set me up
As soon as it lands, the bot posts a ⚙️ Set me up button in the group. Tap it (group admins only): the bot opens a private chat and walks you through the steps below one at a time — admin rights, buy alerts, group link, raids, Heidrun Trending, your project's identity and credits. Every step can be skipped.
New to Heidrun? The setup adds 20 free credits to your group so you can try it before paying — once, for groups, admins and tokens that haven't used the bot before.
Missed the button? Type /setup in the group to post it again, or /setup in a private chat with the bot to pick your group. The rest of this page is the same setup done by hand.
2. Promote it to admin
This step is not optional. Telegram only shows a bot the commands and the replies to its own messages. As admin it also sees normal messages, which two features need: auto-smash (spotting X, TikTok… links posted in the group) and XP, which feeds the activity rankings (/xp_top, /trending). Without admin rights they silently stop working.
Group settings → Administrators → Add admin → pick the bot. No right is required — you can switch them all off. Only one is useful:
- Delete messages (optional) — the bot tidies up setup replies, like the token address you paste in
/alert_config. Without it, those replies simply stay in the chat.
The bot never bans, restricts, pins, invites or edits your group.
3. Get credits
A new group starts at 0 credits, and generations are paid in credits. Open /begin → 💰 Credits & Balance → Purchase Credits, pay in USDC, then submit your transaction hash with /submit_hash <tx_hash> in the group and choose Group credits — sent in a private chat, the credits go to you personally.

4. Give the bot your project's identity
This is what turns a generic bot into your project's bot. From /begin → ⚙️ Settings:

5. Turn on your on-chain alerts
Type /alert_config, paste your token address (the chain is detected automatically), enable Buy alerts, then press ▶️ Start. Buys appear in the group within ~30 seconds.
